Bank Holiday Cycle Pilgrimage to Walsingham

This year again it will be a sponsored ride in aid of the African Mission where our fellow parishioners and friends Andy and Mary Clark have been living and working for the last 18 months.

The return trip is 62 miles. The main group will start from St. John's Cathedral Car Park, Earlham Road, at 8am sharp! We usually get to Reepham about 9:15am and stop for tea and rest at the Brewers' Arms. Then we push on, expecting to arrive at the Slipper Chapel about 11:30am in good time for mid-day Mass.

Bring a packed lunch or you can rely on the cafe (sometimes crowded) at the Slipper chapel. After a picnic lunch we start for home at 2pm over the same route, stopping in Reepham again. We expect to get back to Norwich at about 6pm.

Children's Pilgrimage to Walsingham

The Annual Children's Pilgrimage to Walsingham takes place on Tuesday 27th May 2008 during the school half-term holiday. The day will begin with a procession from the village, at 10.45 am, led by Bishop Michael, to the shrine. Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon at the Chapel of Reconciliation followed by a picnic in the meadow and a fun afternoon at the beach. Further details from Christine Storman 01603 713390.

Go Karting with Bishop Michael - for anyone of secondary school age. Go Karting will take place at Anglia Indoor Kart Racing in Ipswich.

Special price of £15 which includes at least two 12 lap goes.
